Irene Village Market: What you can expect

I haven’t been to the Irene Village Market in ages. So a few weeks ago, I thought that I would swing by to give our readers the inside scoop. I found some nice treasures for my home and saw so many beautiful things, but unfortunately my bank balance wouldn’t allow me to buy all the things that my heart desired.
The market is held on every second and last Saturday of the month. All of the goods sold there are handmade, except for the antique stalls. We loved the furniture stalls and the wide variety of flowers sold at the market. There is a friendly atmosphere in the air and exhibitors are more than willing to share some stories and knowledge while you browse at their stall.

We recommend that you go to the market on a sunny day and that you take some cash with you. An ATM teller is available on the premises, but the banking fees are a bit high. Also go early to avoid some traffic. Safe parking is available at the venue, so budget an extra R10 for a safe parking spot.

Ek love Irene Market ~ ongelukkig is die lekker egte Afrikaanse kos die grootste aantrekking hehe wie kan nee se vir 'n heerlike vetkoek en koffie. 🙂
